B1 and B2 could kick your ass. Played on TVO in 97' i believe.

Mighty Ducks

Aired in the mid 90s verrry loosely based on the Ducks movies. By that i mean they share a name, thats about it. Takes place on puckworld, the ducks play hockey and fight villains/play hockey while fighting villains.

Darkwing Duck

Drake Mallard fights crime by night under the alias Darkwing Duck. Sweet show, aired from 1990-1996.

Animorphs

Aired from fall 98 - spring 99. Based on the scholastic book series these kids morphed into animals to battle an alien presence.

Ducktales

Scrooge, Huey, Dewey and Louie have various adventures per episode. Usual around some sort of scheme for McDuck to get richer. Was on in the early 90s. Really liked this show.

Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers

Chip, Dale, Monterrey Jack, Gadget and Zipper helped solve mysteries. Aired 65 episodes in the very early 90s. Lot of fun.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

10 seasons of awesome. Aired until 1996 and followed the classic story line of fighting the Foot/Shredder and various other minor antagonists. PIZZA.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

The power rangers just ruled life in kindergarden and grade 1 (1994). Fighting, explosions and cities being demolished on a daily basis. Aired on global right before school to get you psyched up for the day.

Street Sharks

Crime-fighting half-man/half-sharks. Show was cool as fuck. Aired in the early-mid 90s.

Biker Mice from Mars

They are mice from mars who enjoy motorcycles and now reside on earth. Aired from 1993-1996 with reruns to follow.

Pinky and the Brain

Little introduction required. Brain is smart, pinky is not. They try to take over the world on a nightly basis. Show is great, i enjoy it as much as a 20 year old as i did when i was 7.

Animaniacs

Needs no blurb. Show rocked and still rocks. Best cartoon since Bugs bunny and Tweety.

Dinosaurs

Remember Earl? How about that fucking ugly baby? Show was pretty solid, the Sinclairs amused us from 91-94 with adult jokes but the show was rad enough to be enjoyed by a younger audience.

Sonic the Hedgehog

More dark than the adventures of sonic show. This was more based on the games and aired saturday mornings.

Widget, the World Watcher

Little purple alien that got into trouble with his human friends. I recall originally seeing it when TVOkids first aired in 1994.

Batman: The Animated Series

Amazing show that did a fantastic job in exploring that darker side of batman and the plethora of villains. The followup The New Batman/Superman Adventures was good, but not quite the same. The fact it featured Mark Hamill doesn't hurt. Saturday morning classic for years.

Tiny Toon Adventures

Obvious choice. If you don't know this cartoon then get the fuck away from this site. I woke up every saturday at 8am strictly so i could watch this show. The movie is pretty good too.

Babar

City of elephants with a monkey occasionally making appearances. Good kids show, and best of all, Gordon Pinsent voiced King Babar. Still airs today.

Sharkey and George

Crime busters of the sea. Aired through the mid 90s on saturday mornings, the antagonist was a jellyfish reminiscent of squidward from spongebob.

Dog City

Ace Hart solved crime. Was sort of a half puppet/half animated show and jim henson did a swell job. Aired in the mid 90s on Global.

Book Mice

three mice who lived behind the wall in a library, and didn't always get along. Their names were Zazi, Norbert, and Leon. They made friends with certain kids who regularly came to the library. The main girl in it, Kate i believe i recognize in various commercials nowadays.

Fireman Sam

Loved it. Stop motion firefighters. This aired on tvo throughout the 90s and it was so damn good, between teaching us about fire safety and having a wicked theme song.

Ghostwriter

Jamal Jenkins and the gang solve mysteries with the assistance of a floating blob that can manipulate words that goes by the designation "Ghostwriter"
Show was amazing, aired on TVO in the 6:30 slot for 2 years or so until it finally got cancelled, which was a sad day.

Hypernauts

I thought this show was awesome in 96-97. Mech warriors and aliens. Only had 13 episodes. three cadets from the Academy of Galactic Exploration become lost in a Hyper Bubble (hyperspace) mis-jump and must band together with an alien named Kulai in order to survive in an unfamiliar part of the galaxy. Which although sounds eerily familiar (farscape, startrek voyager) it was a cool show. Mostly because of the mech suits.

Mighty Max

40 episodes in the early-mid 1990s as a form of promotion for the Mighty Max pocket toys. You have been chosen to be the cap-bearer. Go to the mini-mart and wait for a sign, Mighty Max." Shocked by the message, Max drops the statue, shattering it and revealing a red baseball cap emblazoned with a yellow "M" which he puts on. And the adventures go from there.

Smoggies

The show revolved around a group of island-dwelling people called Suntots who spent the majority of their time defending their island paradise from the filthy, treasure seeking Smoggies who pollute the water around the island and who try to destroy their home for their own benefits.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Originally airing in 1983, this cartoon survived reruns for over a decade. Following the adventures and misadventures of Alvin, Theodore and Simon.

Earthworm Jim

Aired for 23 episodes in the mid 90s. It is about the adventures of Earthworm Jim himself, a regular earthworm who found himself the owner of an "Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-suit", when it was dropped from Space during a a space fight, by the evil "Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt"'s forces.

The Silver Surfer

Aired briefly in 1998 around the time slot that X-men was in. Followed the silver surfer and his adventurs around the galaxy. 13 rad episodes.

ALF

Follows the quest of Gordon Shumway and is attempt to fix his spacecraft after it crashed in the garage of the Tanner family. Aired throughout the late 80s, all throughout the 90s and has recently been added back to WGN's lineup.

Histeria!

Was a response to animaniacs that aired in the late 90s. It combined a history lesson with that fantastic animaniacs comedic approach.

Adventures of Sinbad

Fucking sweet show that was made as a response to Hercule and Xena. Featuring an equally sexy cast, this show follows Zen Gesner around the 7 seas and all the shenanigans he gets himself into.

Taz-Mania

Spinoff from the looney tunes featuring Taz in his homeland of Tazmania. Aired originally in the early 1990's but reruns can still be found on today.

Big Bad Beetleborgs

Aired throughout the mid-late 90s as a Power Rangers spinoff. The kids went to a haunted mansion and were given the power of becoming beetleborgs to battle various villains. The show was renamed Beetleborg Metallix for the 2nd (and final) season.

Godzilla: The Series

A continuation of the Matthew Broderick feature film. Aired from 1998-2000 with Dr Nick and Godzilla teaming up to fight various mutant monsters around the globe. Rednecks also played primary antagonists. Win.

Men In Black: The Series

Spinoff from the movie that ran for 4 seasons from 1997-2001 on global saturday mornings. Keeping all the characters of J, K, L, Frank, Z and the worms. They battle various alien lifeforms in order to preserve humanity.

Tales from the Cryptkeeper

Aired in the mid 90s and reruns survived for many years after. Each episode brought us 2-3 horrific little tales that were an awesome addition to the global weekend lineup. Also some decent literature referenced.

The Adventures of Tintin

Tin Tin, his dog snowy and the drunk captain Haddock solved various mysteries using the assistance of Thompson and Thompson and the Professor. Great show. Aired sporadically throughout the 1990s.

The Legend of White Fang

Cartoon based on the Jack London story, a wolf assists people living in the klondike with their day to day lives in the gold rush. Uses both viewpoints of animals and humans and explores a rather spiritual side of yukon living. Aired during the mid 1990s.

Eerie Indiana

The original aired in the early 1990s and was re-aired in the late 1990s, which also spawned the spinoff "the other dimension". We followed Marshall through his series of odd adventures of confronting various urban legends and other strange foibles.

Kideo

Buddy, Ace and PJ made up the troupe of rock stars that amused us from 1993-1996 on global. They wrote and performed all their own rad songs for 3 seasons.

Wishbone

A story telling mystery solving jack russel. Remembered for its groundbreaking addition of beards, hats and costumes to a dog.
Aired from 1995-1998 on TVO in the 6ish timeslot. Fucking key.

Beetlejuice

This aired well into the mid 90s and was usually part of the saturday afternoon lineup on global. Featuring a less goth Lydia and a more spunky and hilarious beetlejuice.

Talespin

Airing from 1990-1994 this was a cool as shit show that used characters obviously derived from the jungle book. The series follows the ups and downs of "Higher for Hire" and its staff, solving mysteries, hunting for treasure and what not. The show even had 2 banned episodes, which is pretty fucking impressive for a disney show.

Life with Louie

A cartoon series chronicling the childhood of fatso comedian Louie Anderson. Louie's dad was fucking awesome. Aired from 1994-1998 as part of the saturday morning lineup. Solid show.

Bobbys World

Howie Mandel as Bobbie Generic. Following the adventures of bobby and his overactive imagination throughout 80 episodes of adventure. Aired from 1990-1998. Funny as shit.

Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog

Took me a very long time to remember this show. Picture power rangers in Ireland. Its fucking fantastic listening to the dialogue. The show actually had about 50 episodes and aired from 1998 to 1999. The 4 knights battled a witch or something with a fucking dragon.

Weird Al Show

Featuring Weird Al Yankovic himself, plus a hamster named harvey. Aired in fall 1997 for 13 episodes in a saturday afternoon timeslot on global. My personal favourite skit was the cartoon adventures of Fatman.
